VIBRATIONAL SOUND THERAPY

Vibrational Sound Therapy (VST) is a relaxation modality that uses hand-hammered therapeutic Himalayan singing bowls on the body. Unlike other singing bowls that are made for their auditory quality to project sound up and out, these zen therapeutic singing bowls are specifically made to transmit vibration down into your body and through the muscles and fascia to release tension and promote relaxation.

VST is similar to massage in that clients lie on a massage table, however, clients are fully clothed. Bowls are used on the body, so I am not using my hands to massage, the vibrations produced by the bowls are doing the work.

COVID-19 Protocols:

  • We are disinfecting high touch surfaces (i.e. doorknobs) several times per day.

  • We are disinfecting the treatment table and singing bowls in between each client session.

  • We have an air purifier with HEPA filter in the treatment room.

  • VST practitioner is fully vaccinated and will wear a mask at all times.

  • Proof of Covid-19 vaccination is required to receive service.

  • You will be asked to wash your hands upon entering Revive Wellness Center and your temperature will be taken.

  • Masks are required. If you are lying supine (face up) during treatment, your mask will stay on. If you are lying prone (face down) during treatment, your mask can be removed.

  • If you are feeling ill and/or experiencing Covid symptoms, please stay home and we can reschedule your session for a different time.

I'm currently offering Vibrational Sound Therapy sessions on Tuesday evenings and all day on Saturdays at Revive Wellness City in the Lakeridge/Columbia City neighborhood.
